Are you interested in starting a program like the Athens Photo Project in your community? We can help!
We have over 18 years experience developing sustainable partnerships that improve the quality of life and social inclusion for community members living with mental illness. Our program model grew up as a grassroots solution to real life gaps in mental health services. Our artists, staff and partners all testify to the power of arts partnerships to overcome individual and social challenges.
We know our program can work in other communities.
Today, we are asking the same individuals who helped innovate the integration of Arts and Mental Health in Athens to turn their attention to other communities who face similar challenges. In 2018, our artists and staff, with technical support from Ohio University, began to develop a training program, toolkit and affiliate model that will support the integration of Arts and Mental Health in other communities.
If you are a behavioral health provider, board, or other stakeholder who would like to start a program like the Athens Photo Project in your community, please contact our director to be added to our Program Development interest list. We will provide you with ongoing updates on our training program, schedule a site visit or conference call to hear your vision, and help you determine if a partnership with the Athens Photo Project can help make your vision a reality.
